O artyście
The Jasna Góra Boys’ and Men’s Choir ‘Pueri Claromontani’ was established in 2003 in Jasna Góra. The ensemble sings there both during daily services and the greatest religious celebrations, including those broadcast by Polish Television. The choir regularly participates in the national and international choir congresses of the Pueri Cantores federation.
The most important events in the history of the ensemble include the co-creation of the liturgy in the Jasna Góra meadow during papal visits: Benedict XVI in 2006 and Francis in 2016. At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, the ensemble has performed twice at the Presidential Palace.
At many festivals and concerts in Poland and abroad (Brazil, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Lithuania), the ensemble has had the opportunity to cooperate with such composers as, among others, Wojciech Kilar, Krzysztof Penderecki, Sławomir Czarnecki or Paweł Mykietyn. Since 2021, the ensemble has been conducted by Sr Maria Bujalska, PDDM.
