Named “the best Carmen in 25 years” by the New York Times. Elīna Garanča has reigned on opera stages for more than two decades as one of the most outstanding mezzo-sopranos. The concert program was divided into two parts. In the first part – dominated by French opera – we will hear works by C. Saint-Saens, J. Massenet or Gounod. The second, on the other hand, will culminate in excerpts from Bizet’s Carmen.
