An evening for soprano and piano at the Eufonie Festival! Olga and Natalia Pasiecznik will perform a special vocal recital in the Ballroom of the Royal Castle in Warsaw.
The Pasiecznik sisters do not need to be introduced to the admirers of contemporary music. It was with Olga in mind that Paweł Szymański composed his two-act opera Qudsja Zaher; Krzysztof Knittel writes especially for her. She has sung on the stages of the most prestigious opera houses in the world and has recorded over 50 albums.
She performs in a repertoire comprising pieces from various eras, from the Renaissance to the present day, as well as in recitals with Russian and Ukrainian songs, accompanied by her sister Natalia on the piano.
At the Eufonie Festival, the Pasiecznik sisters will perform songs by Jean Sibelius and Ukrainian composers, Viktor Kosenko and Mykola Lysenko.
